I agree and 5 years ago still would pick fedor.. Im guessing it be a fit to shut up the haters.. Fedors an animal his cold composied and technically awesome.. Hard to bet.. specially cos his never scared
I don't think Randy would do all that well against fedor. I could see it being just as one sided as this fight was, especially in a ring.
Maybe but the fat lady is singing very loudly. Randy as just turned 45. If the fight ever does materialise he`ll be approaching 46. Not a good look at all.
Very true but I suppose if anybody can be 46 and still win the fight vs father time its Randy Couture. He eats clean and doesnt have any bad habits and still continues to train daily keeping himself in shape year round. Couture even at 45 looked better then ever last year so I dont expect to much of a dropoff in a year but maybe after 2008 it probablly would thats why ive said before if the fight aint made this year I do not wanna see it. Ill just accept that Fedor-Couture wasnt meant to happen.
Well compare both fighters stand up and striking Fedor. Wrestling even Submissions Fedor. I would give fedor the edge he is quicker. I would rate the wrestling as even because they are both basically Greco roman and Linlhand got thrown when he locked up with fedor
He won't be fighting Father time, he'll be fighting Fedor. The truth is that Fedor is just an awful matchup for him and much better. Couture got disgustingly overrated after beating Sylvia, but look what Nog and Fedor just did to Sylvia. Randy is still the guy that got KO'd by Liddell twice....only older now. The Gonzaga victory is a bit overrated as well, since Gonzaga is overrated. Can you imagine what Fedor would do to Gonzaga :yikes I say Randy needs to seek a rematch with Barnett, fight Arlovski or give Nog the fight just to prove he is the next in line for Fedor.
Randy Couture is a huge underdog against a fighter that is considered much better... I've never heard this script before...
