I don't think Fedor seems to understand the UFC do want him, he's just got the worst ****ing management in MMA and is way too picky for his own good.

You know, I really wouldn't disregard that notion completely, Mir could do exactly what Werdum did, albeit he's less likely to as he's better with grabbing a leg or an arm rather than slap on a triangle, but still, if Fedor continues to explode on fighters and fail to watch what he's doing, he could be submitted again easily in the future, bjj fighters are getting better.

Yes, but I really don't think Mir could be a threat for Fedor....I can really imagine this finishing a Coleman kind of way, with an armabar or smthing like that. My guess would be Mir would think that is BJJ is better, but is no way as good as Werdum, and try to get Fedor on the ground, succesfully doing so, and get subbed by Fedor 30 sec later... !;)

I really don't think Mir would be stupid enough to try and take Fedor down. Knowing him, I think he'd try to stand with him and either get his ass knocked clean out or put on the floor and get finished there or pull off a submission.

But y'never know, not that I'm saying Fedor is easy to knockout, clearly anything but, but Mir has power in his hands and feet too, everyone's got a certain number they can take. Fedor can't be invincible forever, if it goes for Silva it goes for The Last Emperor too.

The man just tapped.. STFU and fight, or retire.

Petty bull**** that people like me could give a **** about.. I want to know his next moves, not about him and the UFC once again.

The problem is that sooner or later everyone looses..including Fedor as we just seen. And each time he looses his value to the UFC goes down.

Personally I think they need each other, but given what the UFC pays it's fighters, my guess is that it's simply not enough for Fedor to jump ship. It would be nice if they could do something like in boxing and have a co-promotion of sorts, but I don't think the UFC is interested in that, and as well known as Fedor is to hard core fans, he's probably not near as famous to the public, as say Anderson Silva, GSP, Mir, or a host of other UFC fighters. And if I'm not mistaken the UFC's position is that a lot of money goes into making these guys household names..

Plus if Fedor did win and then didn't fight in the UFC, fans would be going WTF's going on, and it would simply undermine the whole UFC organization..so I can certainly see their point of view.

But if he never signs it will probably hurt him more than it would the UFC, which is going to continue to do what it's doing regardless of whose actually doing the fighting. They know the Henderson's, the Couture's, the Tito's, the Iceman, will continue to come and go and as long as whoever holds the title is deemed a recognised name, and consistantly puts on a good show, they'll do fine.

Yeah, Mir got crushed by Brock Lesnar and blown away by Shane Carwin, but he'd beat a guy with more skills in his left bollock than both of those meatheads put together.

    lol, damn right

  12. Where did they renegotiate? After the Rogers fight they the holdup wasnt because M1 wanted to renegotiate. The holdup was because Strikefoce didnt honor their original contract.

Mir do what Werdum do? one guy is a ADCC champion while the other guy got submitted by Roy Nelson.

Fedor submitted again easily? theres only ONE current ADCC champion and thats Werdum. Also thats just one person whose submitted Fedor......anyone else doing it is far from fact.

I dont know if whats more stupid for Mir, standing up with Fedor or going to ground with him. Standing up would result in Fedor knocking Mir's head clean off and Fedor would leave with Mir's arms if it went to ground.

TBH i dont think it's a good idea for Fedor to be joining the UFC now. He's no spring chicken. What a nightmare scenario if the GOAT was to join up, then go the Cro Cop route, and have all these idiots wondering what the fuss was ever about in the first place

  14. Thats part of the fun of MMA, you never know what will happen. That could happen to Fedor or Fedor could go the Anerson Silva route and dominate the UFC. The only difference is that Anderson unlike Fedor didnt manage to dominate Pride.
