But come on.. Feigenbutz vs Chudinov would be much more interesting to see then Sturm ... his Performance was so ruuubish... Its just of Sturm vs AA for 2 belts, thats all, bet Sauerland, Sat 1 and Sturm Promotion all paid the WBA to get the rematch. :deal
^ True, it was rubbish, but then so have all of Feigenbutz's performances that I've seen. Chudinov has already defeated better fighters than Feigenbutz, IMO. Perez and McCulloch for instance.
Fedor has far better footwork that Feigenbutz, but no one at 168 has his one punch power. Lumbering yes, but improving ever so slightly each time out, and at 19 y/o, the kid is only gonna get better. :think
19? He's turning 28 in a week, he's on a right track, even though definitely undersized at 168 :think If RJJ can teach him head movement alone that's already a big step :happy
I'm just wondering if RJJ can work well with fighters who don't depend on their athleticism like he once did, I mean Pascal made sense, someone like Sergio would have made perfect sense as well. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
He's 19 with a limited amatuer background. Not saying he is, or will be a world beater, but he's literally wrecked all of his even half decent opposition. And even if he takes few Ls in the coming yrs, he's got plenty of time to learn on the job, and his team arent looking to continue the bum of the month club he's been on, they're trying hard to get the likes of Sturm, Steiglitz and Fedor across the ring from their young power punching protege. I like the kid. Reminds me a lot of a young Abe and fights similarly to Eubank Jr. Time is definitely on his side. I think he could move up to the Gutneckts and Angulo's of the divison and get the experience he needs at this stage of his career. A win over either Gutnecht or Angulo, both of which I see him KOing inside 6, would definitely leapfrog him into the top 10 at SMW. :think
I almost hope that he isn't good enough and doesn't win a world title, Germans are just the absolute worst when it comes to milking them, certainly don't want another Braehmer/Huck/Sturm.
I can't see him milking it, though your'e right about the lock German fighters seem to get on the WBO titles. Butz is holding the WBA minor though, a title directly linked to Andre Ward, so it looks like he'll be going to Oakland in the next 12 months, that is if Ward is still a SMW or a prize fighter at all by that time.:think
