He's looked very lean in all the training videos lately. That's probably the smallest I ever remember his spare tire looking. Be interesting to see what he weighs at.
Fedor is slightly thicker set. Other than his head and torso Hendos legs and arms look small. Hendo has afterall made 185.
The size difference is meaningless. Fedor will win the same way he did vs Lindland. Armbar or Kimura in the first round after getting Hendo to the mat.
hendo will probably try to clinch, when he does that fedor will trip/throw him and submit him. i really have no idea how hendo could win this fight, i just dont see it happening, even without the weight advantage.
Fedor hasn't been that light since RINGS. And i thought his contracted weight was 220 or less? Any pictures?
All I got is from Strikeforce's Facebook update. Hopefully Zombie Prophet will come through will pics or gifs Fedor has dropped 7 lbs since Big Foot, and I thought Dan would come in at about 210 + http://www.m-1global.com/2011/07/29/strikeforcem-1-global-fedor-vs-henderson-weigh-in-results/
Never expected Dan to weigh more than 205. He was only going to weigh enough to make the heavyweight limit. He's not a heavy and wouldn't put on the extra weight. Even when he fought in the early UFC's and RINGS he was was around the 200lb mark. And Fedor loosing 7lbs is nothing. He could **** that out in one sitting. Physically he should be the same as normal.
No contracted weight. He has chosen to be lighter. To me it shows all along he has been able to go lighter, much lighter. He''ll be faster and more agile at this weight.
Yeah, I just think the 7 lb drop indicates a slight change in training maybe. I still think he will be quicker than Dan either way
That's interesting i thought there was always a contracted weight. And i don't expect Fedor to be any different to what he is normally. 7lbs is nothing for a man over 200lbs.
Fedor has always been known for his speed which has surprised many of his opponents. Fairly certain it will surprise Dan. As Fedor is visibly much quicker and fleet of foot than Dan has ever been throughout his career.
