I think this is it. It looked like he went to Holland to work on some weaker areas of his game after the Silva loss, and began training before he had a scheduled opponent.

I don't see a massive difference between Fedor and Hendo. Fedor is a bit podgier, so has extra poundage on Dan, and has slightly the bigger natural frame, but there's really not a lot in it. IMO, this really underlines how special Fedor's accomplishments were at hw. And it also underlines how insane it was that he was in the cage with a gigantic beast like Bigfoot Silva!! I don't agree at all with the guy who said earlier on this thread that Fedor is about the same size as Cain Velasquez. I think that's crazy talk. At his best, Cain Velasquez is a 245lbs fighter, in the same weight region as Junior Dos Santos and Fabricio Werdum. And because Cain is a little shorter than them, it makes him stockier and bulkier than those two are. Fedor looks flabby at 230 and in better shape at 223. Fedor looks closer in size to Dan Henderson than he does to a fully-sized, fully-fledged guy with a heavyweight frame like Velasquez. Cain was smaller than Lesnar when they fought, but he wasn't dwarfed by Brock the way that Randy was. Cain has a big frame. Fedor doesn't. I'm expecting a thriller tonight, but Fedor will win by submission. Both guys will have their moments though. Just a great fight between two greats in store!
saw the weighin. got one question does fedor just have the worst diet in the world his body looks like crap all the time. i got divorced 2 years ago and ive done p90x 3 times thats it and im 220-225 and look way freaking better the fedor with his shirt off. whats the deal something doesn't make since he should'nt be that soft unless he just eats pizza and burgers all day. with the amount of training he does??????
age, genes... im sure he doesnt eat/ train for bodybuilding, more for performance. combine that with genes and not the best diet = what you see.
it sounds like he eats a lot of comfort food, sausage and potatoes and stuff like that. not exactly junk food but not healthy either.
Fedor is clearly a naturally bigger man. Hendo might look more physically put together... but Fedor isn't some fat lard... he is simply trained for fighting. You don't need to be trim and ripped to be in great condition. Also, just because Fedor isn't ripped, doesn't mean that he isn't a natural heavyweight either. Some people calling him a middleweight.... just crazy. He fights where his body is comfortable. His speed has been one of his biggest advantages throughout his career.
Hendo has been on HRT for a LOOOONG time. It shows. As he has that classic enlarged mandible and brow that alot of BB's get from abusing HGH for a long time. You should see Hendo in his earlier career. His head wasn't half as big as it is now.
All them guys are on HRT. Including Dana and Lorenzo. Desperate Dan jaw line is the best way to describe it. Looks F'in ridiculous.
Just think WWE. Vince loves the big guys. So does Dana. There's no other way he can sell his brand to their fickle fans. The see big guy and immediately think OMFG he MUST be good!
