Man, are there some butt her Pride bandwagoneers here! People just can't face the cold hard facts! There are overrated fighters in all organizations UFC, Pride, strikefarce, WCW for the Lesnar groupi who brought him up. Just because guys pad their records in one organization doesn't mean they're going to mop the floor in another.
And before anyone else asks if I where do I live, what race am i, do I train, lift weights shadow box blah, balh. WTH does any of that have to do with the pride heroes being obliterated in the UFC? Your opinion supposed to hold more weight than mine because your a doormat at the local gym or because you train with them?
Pride undeniably had the best fighters during it's heyday. It's not like Anderson Silva, Henderson, shogun, big nog, rampage, werdum, wandy and a few others from that promotion were/are nobodies in the UFC either. I guess wec and strikeforce guys were all junk too. Prior to the assimilation, the UFC did not have all the top shelf talent....and definitely not during the pride era. When big nog was still a top ten heavy challenging for titles in the UFC years after pride.....yep he's just good and not top level in the world.
