I think you need to re-read the post. I gave my opinion, guys countered, and I answered back. I can't answer back without it being considered "on and on"? All the organizations have underated/overrated fighters. If you don't like my opinion, ignore it and move on. I won't comment anymore on this thread as a few too many people are getting butthurt.
I'll give you a prime example of what I believe to be an overrated fighter in the UFC in John Jones. Dana white has been dragging up dudes from lower weights that shouldn't be in there with joneswho is a massive dude. Heck, they recycled through so many past it fighters that they even drug down Cormier 30+lbs just to keep jones happy with his huge size advantage. Don't g et me wrong, he has skills but his biggest advantage is his size and ability to cut 20+lbs. Once he finally moves up, you'll see the losses
The only thing youve been able to contribute thus far is a bunch of crying lol. Just grasping at a railing that's not there and you fall on your face, again.
If you would man up like your namesake, you would drop any future comments, otherwise I'll just stick around. It's fun seeing rose-colored glasses fan boys get their panties all soiled up
How sad, someone gives an opinion about your hero's that make you cry and all you can do is try and make fun of a that person over the internet instead of debating. How very sad. Here, I'll make you feel all better and I really won't make anymore comments about ufc, Pride etc. You can continue to bash away to an imaginary person and I'll just get back to my work.
Fedor for me. The MMA world isn't 'evolving' that much anymore as everyone puts it. I'm a boxer myself and Fedor's striking is very good and he seemed to submit a lot of people. Valasquez's stand up looks messy and second rate to me. You could only know if it happened but Fedor for me. Valasquez has good wrestling so who knows.
Strange. My boxing coach always points out when talking about Fedor that he didn't have good boxing. It'd be an interesting match up. We will never know. I say if they fought 10 times, Fedor would win 7-3, 6-4.
Fedor lost to Werdum, who is the Heavyweight Champion of the world now! Fedor lost to Henderson, who is an ATG and hall of famer! Fedor lost to Big Foot Silva, who was roided to the gills and outweighed Fedor by 60-80 pounds. Fact is, Fedor did NOT lose to nobodies. Fedor was dominating Werdum on feet, and would have kept dominating him on feet had he not gone down to Werdum's playground. Fedor was dominating Hendo on feet until he ran up to him with his hands down and got knocked out, with Hendo's back turned. Fedor was at times out muscling the much larger Big Foot Silva, and the fight only stopped because the doctors didn't want to see Fedor injured anymore. (eye swollen). Fedor was a warrior, no one can take it away from him! Fedor won countless Sambo tournaments against 265 (not counting rehydration weight) pound behemoth opposition! He himself was only 210-220 pounds. Fedor has always been the smaller men, fighting and beating giants.
Fedor, in his prime (2002-2005), cannot be beaten under MMA rules. You are talking about a guy that outstruck better strikers and out grappled better grapplers. He'd beat you at your own game. The best striking to grappling transitions the game has seen. The best ground & pound the game has ever seen. The best cardio for a HW (Cain turns purple and wall-stalls) the game has seen. And he did it all without having a TRUE world class camp! He trained in playgrounds on children's apparatus like ******-bars! Ran, hits tires with sledges and trained in third-world conditions; and he STILL remained undefeated during all of that in his prime... You can hate on his technique, who he fought and under which organisation he fought for, but you cannot hate the fighter that he was. Not to mention that he never got any marketing behind him. Pride never pushed him one bit! They were pro-Nog. Simply put, he is the greatest fighter that has ever walked the face of the earth.
Laughable. I love Mike, but even in his prime he wasn't the best fighter on earth. Hell, he might not have been the best boxer.
