No, this fight will never happen. But it would be interresting no? Machida is a big 205, could come to fight at 220, and Fedor, 230. Style wise, it would be interresting. How would it play out?
Machida is not a heavyweight. Fedor gets to him eventually. I don't really like these cross weight fantasy matchups. I can't see Machida going to Heavyweight ever.
He wont go there, because UFC's heavyweight is thin in talent. But, he could, he is a big 205 like I said.
There is that and that he's not stupid. With huge guys like Brock Lesnar and co. walking around in that division now at the top end of the 265lbs limit he really doesn't need to put himself at that disadvantage. Not to mention that the LHW division is stacked.
I don't see this happening but if ever I would not pick against Fedor until someone actually beats him, until then how can you pick against him?
He isn't. Could probably make 185. heard him talk about not cutting any weight to make 205 but liking to be fresher by not cutting. I'll see if i can find comments from him on google. I think Fedor would clinch, take him down and beat him up. Fedors fast feet and big natural size adv. would win him the fight.
MAchida is just right at 205. The problem is everyone at 205 are giants (Tito, Forrest, Bonnar) Every ****in one of them could fight as a heavyweight xcept for Rich and Rashad. All you have to do is to look at Vera, he fought at heavyweight and hes saller than Griffin. Fedor/Machida, very interesting...How Machida hurts Fedor is a mystery to me but the guy is so good that he can eek out a decision. No one can deny that possibility.
Machida needs to get the LH strap 1st before we can talk about Fedor. They can't keep ducking him forever especially after his last performance.
