How about Fedor vs Schilt II? First time Schilt got dominated by Fedor. Did make the final bell tough. Since Schilt has come a long way winning the K1 4 times.
A few of those K1 guys would be good buys for Strikeforce. I'd be interested in the trilogy between Hari and Overeem being settled.
Schilt is the same fighter. In fact hes probably regressed, gotten older and not been training MMA. Another painful fight for the big guy, probably worse.
I just fancy him to this time. Not seen the fight in years but I don't think Fedor went after him trying for the submissions.
Schilt has become a better striker and has become way bigger/stronger/heavier. Look how young Schilt looked when they fought. I think this version of Schilt is more dangerous.
Has he become a better striker in mma, or just better at winning k1 matches. Anyway, it doesnt matter, if he cant keep from being taken down. Hes too long for mma, just has a weak base and too top heavy.
I'm not really interested in seeing it. Schilt will at least need to get a few good wins in MMA bouts to get me interested.
Both are better than before, but the improvement Schilt has made will be more useful in this fight; Schilt is much stronger, heavier, and a better striker in terms of skill and power. Fedor is a much much better striker now, but striking with Schilt will be a bad idea. I still think Fedor would take him down and pound him out or submit him, because even though he hasn't really "improved" those aspects of his game, it's because there is little to no room for improvement, he's that damn good. People do forget that Schilt has a ton of experience in MMA, he was an old school Pancrase guy, he has decent sub skills, even though he has been almost strictly K1 for a while, he triangles someone not more than a couple of years ago. I'm not saying he is a well rounded fighter, but he is not new to MMA. I do hope Fedor learned from the Choi fight; the type of bodylock takedowns he tried and failed there are very hard agaisnt a huge, heavy, strong guy. Fedor should work on other types of takedowns, double and single legs, while watching for those deadly knees. I have to say though, this is another fight that is not that a world champion should not be focused on. Fedor should be fighting the absolute best MMA HW's he can. Schilt is a extremly difficult fight, I mean no disrespect on that front; he is not a can or even an easy fight, but he is not a contender in MMA. Champions need to fight top contenders; if this was a once in a while thing I would love it, I still do in a vaccum, but he needs to switch his routine of a lot of good tough fights against non-contenders and then a real chamionship level contender fight once in a while. He needs to do the opposite, 3-4 top contenders and then a one or two interesting tough fights or even just fun less tough fights. It would be a great fight, but Barnett is the type of guy he should be fighting more often.
