Apperently he might be next on Fedor's grocery list for April's M1 card in the US. After a successfull comeback Jan 12 he has overtaken monson and Rizzo as Finkel's favorite for Fedor's oppenent. :barf why not? after losing 4 of 5 in pride he made a comeback in 2006 with a victory over non other than Min Soo kim......and then in 2008 a true test came and he defeated the ever dangerous Guelmino Nandor...he has prooved with his latest victory that he deserves a shot against the world #1 heavyweight.:good
I think Finkel likes the Freak show type fights and promotes Fedor as a great giant killer. non the less should this be confirmed it's just another black mark against Fedor...not to mention he has already beat him before.

Thats semantics and a bit of a loophole arguement. I think we should just consider the winner of Nog vs Sylvia as the new champion. Its not their or Randy's fault that the UFC is being stubborn and persisting in keeping Randy as champ.
MONSON would have had a serious chance vs fedor. that is probably why they wont let him near the russian.
This is as good a place as any to ask this, can anyone track down the first Fedor/Schilt fight online? I haven't seen it in years.
Fedor would have manhandled Monson. Monson couldn;t even hang with Sylvia. At this point it doesn't really matter who Fedor fights. Fedor's basically the HW #1 Emeritus - because he is not fighting the top fighters in the division and hasn't done so in years.
Monson would be a better fight, meaning wise and competitive wise. According to Greg Savage at Sherdog, the Schilt thing is a wild rumor and Monson is the one he will probably be fighting.
