It actually looks like Randy ducked Fedor already.. Check the interview.. Randy said he was offered 3 mil to fight Fedor but fought Tim Sylvia instead. He's scared!

Just playin.. But, its true.. They could have fought, Randy already declined.

 

Ouch, thats a punch below the belt. Only true nuthugger would still try to demean Fedor and not Randy. At least Fedor got a MUCH better deal :rofl.

In his mind Lindland is Couture because they're both Greco guys and used to train together, this equates to one being the other.

 

Wrestling, is both a technical sport and a strength sport.. You wont get far in wrestling without great strength.. However, when fighting Fedor, you could be as strong as Mark Hunt and its not going to help you, as Fedor is more a technician.. Sambo, I believe has more to do with balance, agility, speed intellect as far as having contingencies going through your mind at all times, and explosiveness.. Strength being important, but not at the cost of flexibility and well roundedness.

In the end. It can be argued that Couture ducked Fedor anyhow.. Was offered 3 mil to fight Fedor but instead took on Tim Sylvia.. Neither fighter I feel fears the other.. But, all the **** talking.. I think its rediculous.

I don't want to talk crap about Couture.. I think the comparison of Lindland and Couture is a good one.. Couture being the bigger, stronger guy fighting against a guy like Fedor, where being super strong isn't going to help.. To defeat Fedor, you really need to either be very lucky, or lucky and as technically sound and rounded as Fedor himself as far as I have seen.. You would either need to be able to nullify his submission abilities and out strike him, or nullify his striking abilities and sub him.. But, him being so strong in the ground game, I really think the only way to beat him is by knocking him out.

Making me feel badly for talking crap about Randy.. But, seems like the only thing I can resort to with people talking crap about Fedor.
