Much better round for Uulu, it was action packed throughout. Uulu trying to get his jab on track early, Papazov getting impatient and going all out, which led to some solid exchanges s Papazov backed him to the ropes and started unloading, with Uulu catching him with some lovely counter right hooks and straight lefts. Both men were mildly rocked at times, but hid it well.

Uulu comes out aggressive, lands two nice straight lefts, then rocks Papazov with a third, he stagers back, Uulu goes for the kill, unloads for a few seconds, Papazov recovers. Papazov defending much better now, going for looping rights, but Uulu i blocking most, then Uulu starts sitting down on his shots, and letting them fly again late. Papazov lands a few left hooks to the body. Uulu responds with a few straight lefts. One a vicious one that lands clean to the chin and rocks Papazov, Uulu goes crazed again. But Papazov recovers fast.

Uulu controlling range fairly well, keeping him at bay with his jab. Papazov swinging for the fences, most being caught on the gloves of Uulu. Uulu now giving him a ton of lateral movement. Uulu lunges in, lands several one twos flush, Papazov taking them better now, Papazov fires back landing a clean right on the button, Uulu takes it well. They trade straight rights and lefts, Papazov digging to the body with left hooks, Uulu is rocked by a few heavy rights, he holds. Papazov gets in a few more hooks to the body, steals round late.

Uulu now fully recovered from the last round, seems a bit standoffish, Papazov also controlling range better and using his jab, now doubling up on the one twos. With one two three fours. Not connecting with all, but enough, they trade a few times. Papazov mostly getting the best of it. With 2 minutes left, Papazov lands a looping right hook to the chin that nearly decapitates Uulu, not sure how he didn't even seem to get hurt by that. Uulu fires off some one twos late, but too little too late.

Uulu comes out with renewed vigor, seems content to bite down on his gumshield and sit down on all of his punches. They basically stand in the middle of the ring and trade, with Uulu's shots being the cleaner more effective ones. Papazov seemed bothered by a few of them late. Nice bounce back round for the Tajik.

Fairly close round, with both men letting their hands go, basically the epitome of quality vs quantity. Uulu far more active landing uppercuts and hooks with both hands, but teh well placed heavier blows from Papazov id more damage, especially his lopping left hook over the jab, which is starting to cause some swelling on the right temple area of Uulu.

Uulu comes out quite aggressive, backing papazov into teh corner and unloading, which gives Papazov ample opportunity to land counters. Of which he lands a few, and heavy ones. But Uulu is still outworking him, then Papazov lands somethat backs Uulu off, and the swelling in teh blink of an eye gets exponentially worse. Still, Uulu did enough to take the round on activity.

Uulu hesitant to in engage for obvious reason of having a dinosaur egg growing on the side of his head, played stay away throughout, prancing around in circles on teh outside, Papazov too tired to capitalize, at one point stood in the middle of the ring and taunted him. Uulu landed a few shots here and there, but not enough to negate the output of Papazov. Even though much of that was ineffective.

Uulu comes out strong and active, trying to reverse course from the last round, bad idea. Papazov capitalizes, landing several heavy hooks in the exchanges, a few of which seemed to stun Uulu a little. Papazov then starts chasing Uulu, who us a more available target as he's slowing down. Gets in several hooks up top and to the body. The ref stops the action, has the dock look at Uulu's swollen cranium, he allows it to continue. Papazov comes hard charging out, looking for the stoppage. But Uulu easily able to make it to the final bell.

I gotta say, that was quite enjoyable throughout and I wouldn't mind seeing them run that back. A rematch wouldn't be out of order. Uulu's stamina was solid late, but he was clearly encumbered by the swelled noggin. Papazov was far too apprehensive at times, and clearly felt the power of Uulu on occasion. So a repeat isn't necessarily a guarantee. This was fun, so... let's go again!



Also, for some inexplicable reason, I have this compulsion to watch The Howling again.
