Mir beat Brock Lesnar butMir lost to Vera in about a minute, who lost a decision to Keith Jardine, who got beaten in seconds by Wanderlei Silva. Wandy would clearly be the best UFC heavyweight.
But Anderson Silva beat him, and he lost to Ryo Chonan, who lost to Phil Baroni, who lost to Minowa who lost to Wanderlei Silva. The world implodes.
It's hard to argue that Fedor is probably the best of all time (to now) but you have to admit he has lived a bit of a charmed life as of late. That KO of Arlovski looked a bit "fortunate". He winged a punch with his head down and caught AA. The Tim fight was well....just an overmatch. The Barnett fight will be Fedors only elite test of the past few years. Lindlind, Choi, Sylvia, Arlovski is not looking like an incredible run for the P4P best. It may seem like sacrilege but I believe Fedor is on the downside of his career.
OMG someone inform Dana his got to get rid of Anderson Silva straight away! I mean he did loose via the coolest submission ever seen in MMA ( flying scissor heel hook ) and whats worse is Chonan is a can!!!!!!!!!!! yikes
I think he'd have to look like he might lose a fight before that happens. None of those people have given him much trouble.
If anything, it makes the UFC heavyweight division look like amateurs for having two of their former champions destroyed by nobodies.
The UFC Heavyweight Division is worse than Boxing's Heavyweight Division. The UFC Heavyweight are pitiful. Their champion is a former professional stuntman. :roflatsch
What does that have anything to do with? Where did you get the impression that I am arguing Silva as better than Fedor? I'm not. I believe Fedor is the P4P best fighter currently operating. I just ALSO believe that he has not maintained a run at the top guys the past two years. It's pretty hard to argue that. Oh. Nearly forgot to punctuate my post with the head slapping icon to further express my disagrement with your post. atsch
