Fedors next opponent is Pedro Rizzo

I called it ages ago.

Well I wasn't expecting anything spectacular and well he did beat Monson Twice I suppose. Not the worst fight in the world certainly better than Lashley.

 

This could all come down to who gets cut first

 

could be the fight that spring boards pedro back into the big time. If he wins im sure dana will be on the phone with a two or three fight deal on offer.

Ive always liked Pedro, but he's his own worst enemy. Probably outside of the Cro Cops and Schilts he was one of the best strikers technically in MMA at HW at the time. He just didnt have that killer instinct, and seemed to wait for the perfect shot

I think Fedor gets his shots off 1st and finishes it. But...If Pedro can control the distance with his jab, and probably the most brutal leg kicks in MMA, an upset might be on the cards here

 

Rizzo, last fight i saw with him, he kicked shamrock in the tigh, and old Ken ny fell to bits. Not a great fight, but better than Lashley yeah.

 

Certainly the best fight Fedor can make outside of going to the UFC. Could be an interesting one. Rizzo hasn't looked totally shot the last few times I've seen him fight.

 

Definitely a fight that should have a finish in it.

 

The first time Fedor hits him flush hard, Pedro's lights will go out. Not because he sucks, but because his chin is horrible at this point in his career.

It's a better fight than Lashley tho.

Fedor's hands are still to fast for Pedro who was never that good at avoiding shots in his prime

If I was Rizzo Id be firing in the leg kicks like I was playing drums in the PRIDE opening ceremony. Take some of that lunging in and closing the distance ability that Fedor has early

Does he still train with Ruas out of interest?
