There is no boxing on actual television tonight in the U.S., except for those of you that get FSN in your area and get to see Calderon vs. Iribe live (those of us in New England and other regions without it have to wait a whole week for Comcast Sports Net to syndicate the card).

If you want your fight fix and don't plan on buying into UFC 115, this is your best - and really, only - option.

Fedosov has a 77% KO ratio albeit against secondary (or tertiary) opposition, and Goofi can certainly be hurt and loses to almost anyone who's pretty good. So the question becomes: is Fedosov pretty good?

It's sad when a not-very-meaningful heavyweight 10-rounder is the boxing highlight of a Saturday night, but at least there's power involved (on both sides) and therefore a reasonable expectation of brutality.

The live LEGAL stream is GoFightLive.tv

It turns out it's actually a mixed card featuring both boxing and MMA, with Fedosov-Whitaker as the headliner under boxing rules. :yep So it's actually not really an alternative to UFC for the anti-MMA boxing purists, but it is a hell of a lot cheaper at $9.99 than the $54.99 or whatever insanity UFC is charging these days. :good

    Oh yeah...I remember Fedosov now...

For those that missed this slugfest on the Karmazin-Miranda undercard:

The record belies power that isn't all that legitimate, and he moves like frozen molasses. :think

So the question now becomes: how done is Whitaker? Is he still better than a shot Butler?

The card starts at 7:30 so if you want to order, you have a few hours. I'm not sure if you can buy it once it's started, sometimes the internet broadcasts have a cut-off.

Apparently the undercard will feature hard-hitting one-time HW prospect Damian "Bolo" Wills against old Fedosov victim Lionel Butler, with the idea being that the winner of this will face the winner of the main event.

We could well see Fedosov-Butler II!

I'm quite interested in this outcome. Fedasov might make some waves down the track.

Please post the result if poss.

Personally, Calderon-Iribe won over my attention.

These undercard results were just posted on fnews 20 minutes ago:

Perhaps the main event is in progress, and it's just really late? :blood California is three hours behind, so it's only 10:48pm right now...not unreasonable I suppose.

Of course, unless something occurred at literally the last minute to prevent it. As of the morning of they were promoting it on the website airing it, and there was nothing online about the main event being canceled. Obviously the card still went through, as the supporting matches were reported on FN (and were flagged as "early results" in the article).

It's approaching midnight California time. It's really weird to not have a result yet, but the fight must have happened (or still be going on?).

Wow...That's quite a surprise. Fedosov didn't look to be anything special (judging from that video), but I figured he could at least get past Whitaker, whose looked awful in his comeback. Oh well, another pretender gets weeded out...
