Lucas is more skilled than he looks. Sort of in the way Marciano is. I re-watched Mayweather-Guerrero and was less impressed with Floyd on the second viewing. He has a lot of bad habits still, and Robert actually had a lot of success in spots. There were also more rounds that he arguably won than I first thought. He should be favored but he's not unbeatable.

Nobody was saying that you dolt. You're just putting up a distraction by pointing away from Canelo:lol:

Spots? Please explain and I hope you're not speaking of anything in the final round.

Funny thing about this fight is that I see Lucas actually landing some of those right hands and honestly I don't see anyone south of 154 taking those shots without being hurt.

How many times in this thread have I said I want this fight next only if the Canelo fight can't be made. PBF beats both and you'll lose sleep at night because of it.:deal

This thread and all the work you are putting into it clearly shows you are worried Floydette.

Don't worry Floyd will fight someone else. Does anyone actually believe Matthysse is next for Garcia. No Floyd is. Much safer fight.

Hardly. Maybe from the perspective a ***** but not from any decent boxing fan with credibility.

Guerrero had a lot more successful body-work than I first noticed. Bogo mentioned it too. It was more substantial than I had first thought. They were just moments where Robert looked fairly good in spots. A few times he exploited Mayweather's jump back in a straight line flaw, but didn't do it enough. Guerrero had some early success countering which was remarkable considering the speed/skill disparity. Floyd adapted well, though. Robert had more success on the inside than I gave him credit for as well. A lot of body-punching with the free arm while Mayweather didn't contest back. Don't get me wrong, Mayweather won rather easily and looked great but he had lapses that allowed Roberto to have pockets of success that the Floyd of the Hatton and Baldomir era wouldn't have allowed. If you believe Guerrero is a B- or B type fighter that might suggest something. Historically, Guerrero is really like a C+/B- type fighter truthfully. Put it to you this way, I didn't see how Guerrero won more than a round the first time but the re-watch I can understand how the judges find three rounds for Guerrero. And again, I don't think that highly of Guerrero.

I ain't worried about ****. I want the fight to be made if the canelo fight can't. I realize unlike most here that defense and ring IQ win fights.:deal It's funny how many here don't want to see it and are making excuses as to why it shouldn't happen.

Defense is very important in fights. I agree with you there. However, fight ending power like Matthysse has can level out the playing field against a slick fighter. I would like to see this fight as well.

I guarantee we get Danny-Floyd next.

I love how the "*****" word gets thrown around once people are called out for their obvious hate filled patterns. Don't be mad at the truth.
