I've been spinning once a week for 2 months and tonight was my second class this week. It was an advanced class and you're probably right. I feel like I worked harder than ever. I'm shattered.
Whats your postworkout nutrition like..? And what do you eat before your workouts..? Also when your working out, your depleting your body of allot of minerals and water soluble vitamins. If your not getting enough vitamins and **** through your diet, i suggest you buy a multi vitamin. Holland and Barett do one's specifically for women.
Could be quite a few things but most likely lack of sleep, diet is off and or dehydration. Always make sure you have something to eat an hour or 2 before you work out, keep hydrated as you work out and aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
I usually eat very well and for the last few months my diet has been excellent. I take vitamin C and a vitamin B suppliment daily. I think my problem was severe lack of sleep, skipped breakfast and had a tiny lunch. I drank loads of water but felt shaky all night after my class. Was a real eye opener. Did another advanced class today which went fine and I feel good now.
Yeh its prob just the intensity your trainning at, spinning is not your traditional cardio workout. Its pretty much the same type of pain 400m/800m track athlete's go through, lactate, and also your muscles sometimes are in oxygen depth........its no joke, i know 400m/800m athlete's that do spinning sessons. I used to feel sick, but never go sick after track sessions. I just felt in pain, and whatever position i put my body i was uncomfortable. For 20mins i would lay on the grass, moving about. Those where the days.... Yeh you should be ok, and keep it up. Body Pump is good aswell, seems to be all the craze thse days.
it happens to me sometimes too, when i eat too much or drink too much before training. two hours without eating is better before training but it depends on your metabolism, you should see what wokrs with you. that almost always the problem
do you recommend that? i did it once and it felt good but i wasnt really sure how much relevance it had to boxing? suppose its pretty good for muscle endurance?
Basically the long and short of it though is that your not fit for it. As you get fitter the nausea will subside.
