I don't care how you respond to my posts or if you respond at all for that matter,it' s you who are blowing a nothing photo and the fact that we disagree into some kind of drama here not me.Do exactly as you like.I always do.

Exactly, he should man up especially his observations of Louis in the marciano fight, are wrong and he knows it, thats why he cant see the punches that Louis landed on Marciano. I can stand a novice saying these things but he should know better and he is just being mean spirited by posting those pic's. Maybe cos he is "irate" and fuming cos somebody called him on it.
Mc Louis was human he made mistakes and he paid for them like a man. No need to further punish the guy cos you're upset. That Marciano elbow, you could do the same with countless guys, so why post it except to make a negative point and that goes for both pic's.[/QUOTE]
You believe I have, a deep seated hatred for Louis and indeed Marciano that again is your prerogative.I repeat I'm neither irate or fuming,I'm sitting at my desk drinking a cup of tea, just about to have some toast and peanut butter for breakfast,I couldn't be more chilled actually.
If you would care to trawl my posts,and there are enough of them,you should be able to form an opinion of my regard for Joe Louis,like wise I have many times said Marciano was a fine man and a great fighter.
No body here,and I mean nobody, has defended Joe Louis more vociferously and doggedly from scurrilous attacks on his ability and reputation than myself.
Anyone in doubt on this have only to read my responses to the hate that Mendoza has posted concerning him ,crooked judges,and referees to gain wins he didn't deserve,allegations of being mob controlled,and now stories of him being practically half witted at the age of 52?
Fourteen years after he made that quote he was refereeing the Quarry vFrazier fight!
After my long and consistant history of praising and defending Louis on this forum, many would be annoyed to find themselves accused of being mean spirited,negative,immature ,and agenda driven.I'm not, because I truthfully do not give a sh*t what anyone here thinks about me,I don't make threads here anymore and the half a dozen posters that I respect because of their content and the objective responses they give to others are massively out weighed by the posters for whom I have zero regard.Feel free to critique my posts as you see fit,as to the respect you mentioned, it has to be earned.I should imagine those half a dozen here whose opinions I respect are aware of it as to the others ?IDGAF.

Indeed. Exactly as Dempsey1234 said. If you press him hard and, " Checkmate him " with facts, links, and films, he will go off topic because he's abused. Sometimes he'll play the race card.

Oddly enough he seems to have a built-in antipathy to most accomplished White heavyweights...Corbett, Fitzsimmons, Jeffries, Marciano, The Klitschko's.... Even UK's very own Tyson Fury before he went bat crazy!

 

Since you have so much love and respect for the man that was Joe Louis then why just post negative stuff about the man. You made some statements that made Louis into a one armed, punchless wonder, and then posted two negative pic's of both. Why? What point were you trying to make? You say why the drama? There is no drama, the facts are and only the facts are simple. You said that Louis had no power, didnt use his right hand, basically fought one handed. I responded not in a bad way by pointing out why I thought you were wrong and even pointed out where Louis did rock Marciano and you answer, I've see 50 times on super8 and DVD, I find it incredible that you missed the two punches Louis threw that rocked Marciano. Then you went out of your way to find to negative pic's of Louis and Marciano to what extent? You keep mentioning that you could care less and that you are at peace with the world while drinking your tea, then why are you responding?
Look mc, fyi, why not show some respect, I dont want to know or care that you have defended Louis or whoever we are talking about this thread and your posts on this thread. I am really sorry you are taken this wrong, but you set yourself up for this, with the statements and posts you make and worse you claim complete innocence. We dont want to know ydgaf or that you have tea and PB for "breakfast", or you dont care cos we know you do but please tell us what relavance does it have for this thread?

I thought Joe Louis admitted he blew most of his money gambling on the golf course, and he blew it before he'd even made it, getting advances from Uncle Mike Jacobs.
I don't think he was particularly hard down by. It's hard to have a lot of sympathy for a man who bet and lost fortunes on golf - and Joe himself admitted that, and took responsibility because he was a man, not some feeble object of pity.

I mean, yes, everyone knows the Tax Man is cold, that goes without saying. Can't expect any favours from that quarter either.

Just my opinion.

Just cos my "two new acolytes", agree with what I wrote doesnt mean I know them, but there you go, saying things cos you are angry. All that aside I do like some of your posts on other threads but on this one, you are wrong, and the evidence is clear, Louis still had power, threw right hands and wasnt a one-handed fighter it doesnt require reading articles, or posting quotes just watching your favorite version of the fight, having some tea and PB, and maybe cos you still cant see it, slo-mo just the last :30 sec. of the first rd. That's all, that's not too hard now is it?.
