Hello! I am new to boxing, I have bought a book with fundamentals but I can't learn what are the feet movement while throwing the jab or the cross for beginning. Can someone explain me or linking a video explaining the right way to move feet?

jab: not too much weight, but mostly in your front leg, so when you are moving throw it at the same time that foot touches the ground. You don't twist your hips nor rotate your foot (not so powerful but quick ad stable instead), unless you do use it as a powerpunch to end a combination (straight left).

right cross: weight moves to the front leg (planted) as you twist your hips and back feet (on your toes) to generate power. More powerful and longer reach than a jab but also not so quick and your balance may be affected if you miss the punch.

I'm too lazy to look for a video for you, but anything that shows those simple facts should be OK.
