Felix Cash.....Definitely overrated at the moment!

Cash is similar to Josh Kelly & Lewis Ritson. They all look great at British level but just can't seem to make the step up to Euro/World level. Hopefully they can soon.

 

I have seen, Cash was brilliant for 8 of the 10 rounds. Showed massive heart etc.

Which I do agree with to q point. But the Russian lad literally didn't do anything for 8 rounds Cash won. So the two rounds the Russian had a pop, Cash ended up on his ass.

Really odd fight but enjoyable

 

I think we could give him the benefit of the doubt here. After he won the British title vs David Bentley he finally got a lot of credit and some attention, unfortunately several members of his family were killed in a tragic car accident last year, so he has not had an easy time and has not been training for part of 2021 so we did not see him at his best last night.

I think this was in many ways his most impressive performance.

The first time he got put down I don't read too much into it, a flash knockdown, can happen to anyone he was up within a couple of seconds and closed the round off well despite taking a bit of punishment.

What impressed me a lot is how well he dealt with the adversity, never seemed to panic, didn't allow Madiev the space he needed, and showed good powers of recovery. He also showed how good a boxer he is, winning 8 out of 10 rounds, and mixing things up very well.

You need this type of fight and situations at these points in your career at Euro level, to hopefully prepare you for the next stage rather than never being hurt and then having a big fight and being unprepared.

 

Say what you want about him but the man looks like a lot of fun

tbf he had a tough year last year. split up with his wife, and lost 4 members of his family in a tragic car crash 3 of whom were first cousins.

He does seem to be a bit chinny, I think he'll be Euro/fringe world level.

what's worse is when bums like Hamzah Sheeraz get hyped from beating nobodies, then aren't even good enough get to british level!

 

Looks so sh!t haha. I'd be willing to spend a couple days there just to see it once but the possibility of running into Sam Jones or AKA Skinz is enough to put me off doing it.
