    Felix Manuel Diaz Guzman is a 5'5 31 year old Light Welterweight with a 17-1 8 KO's record. Born and fighting out of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Winner of the 2008 Light Welterweight Gold Medal in the Beijing Olympics. Although he turned pro way back in 2009 he's had a very slow start to his career, but it finally got the kickstart it needed by signing with Iron Mike Promotions, under Mike he fought Adrian Granados, in a largely unseen but very entertaining match in late 2014, but when Tyson's promotion went belly up he quickly signed up with Al Haymon, and the partnership has already paid off. He fought on the undercard of Garcia-Peterson against Gabriel Bracero who is as tough as nails, and hard to drop, well Diaz brutalized the spoiling Bracero dropping him hard twice late in the match to win a UD in an incredibly fun little 10 Rounder. He has his flaws and he's fighting in a stacked division that will be hard to make a dent in, but he's been on a roll lately and seems to be getting more comfortable as a pro finally.     This guy was a super talent three years ago, but he waited too long. No desire to fight I guess.

    Dominicans barely have any fighters at all that make it to the top .

    Ive been waiting for one of em to start making some noise and take over .

    Hopefully Diaz is the real deal .

    The most I can say right now is he is OK. I am not really impressed. Has potential but he is running late. Too many bad habits. Showing off too much for someone his record. Gets hit easily. Let's see what happens when he faces better opposition with a decent power.

    I just added one of the most brutal robberies of the year Peterson vs Diaz, Felix won 10 or at the very least 8 rounds and lost 9-3 on one of the judges cards.:patsch
