P.S. Has anyone ever saw Griffin fight? Whats his style? I am really flying blind on this one:huh I base Strum winning on fight being in Germany and Griffin not being a puncher and Strum being a very good boxer:deal
Tough call.Since Sturm vs Griffin takes place in Sturm's backyard, I bet my money on the German. Sturm by point decision.
I agree. But I feel that Griffin is kind of a mystery... Maybe he is good enough to beat Sturm ? I honestly wouldn't bet on that fight.
Griffin is another hand-picked opponent for Sturm - an average boxer with no power just like Alcoba.Sturm wins easily on points
i doubt that. what has he ever done to deserve being ranked along side with the top guns at middleweight. outside of his "win" over an out of shape oscar de la hoya (who turned pro at 130 pounds!!) he has done next to nothing. but he did manage to get himself ko´d by 39 year old former lightmiddleweight javier castillejo ( who was totally out of his depth against a faded fernando vargas not long before)!!! what are his best wins?? W12 vs 40 year old maselino masoe, W12 vs journeyman hector velasco (controversial decision), W12 vs castillejo in rematch!! now compare that with what guys like AA, jermain taylor, kelly pavlik, winky wright or bernard hopkins have done??? its a joke!!!! as for this fight, i dont know anything about griffin. he holds a win over masoe, so he could provide a competative fight. still, gotta go with the hometown guy in sturm. seems a safe bet.
