I'd like to publicly apologize to Winky Wright for this thread.
(Wasn't made by me, But a very uncalled for comparison)

 

Indeed he is a porr man's version of Winky,in the Sato fight he looked exactly like a orthodox Winky.
Then again Sato didn't offer too much

 

His next opponent will probably be someone like the German based feather fisted Mahir Oral who is highly ranked and quite known on German territory,but probably tailor made for Sturm.
Oral beat Spada who is the mandatory challenger for Pavlik's title.
Pavlik and AA would probably knock the Turk out within the first 5-6 rounds.
Oral is scheduled to face the dangerous Russian puncher Pirog,but as soon as Sturm's and Oral's camp reach an agreement Pirog vs Oral will be off.
Pirog stands for very high risk,and little reward.
Oral will probably be go the full round of 12 rounds with Sturm and be able to look good by doing so.

 

So Erdei would get robbed of the prize then?

Billy Lyell has a three fight offer from Universem. I wonder if they think he is a safe title shot and expect to get him ranked after what he did to Duddy?

 

As long as Roman Karmazin holds the NABF title Spada or Oral, would have to beat him in an eliminator to become the mandatory. That's how the WBC works. If you're talking WBO, God only knows what they might do.

 

What's your source on this? Remember what I said the other day about Billy getting a shot at Sturm?

 

so what happened when he got his ass kicked against a journeyman in griffin and getting KTFO out by a 37 year old former junior middle weight champ?

Pav and AA ain't exactly "slick." Against Pavlik or Abraham, Sturm could probably win the "boxing match," but over 12 rounds he'd get beat up and lose "the fight." That's my main point.

 

Same article I pointed you to the other day. So, I was repeating your insight into that. It hadn't occurred to me at the time. Lyell will be on a local radio show tomorrow 6 EST.

Jsimps is kinda 'out of the closet' with his role in the show now. You can try the live stream. I can't get it to work but I use Linux, but I'm not sure that is the problem.
