Its strange when people say the words "world class"........I would have thought anyone in the top 50 in each division is worlds class.

Or do we only have 2 or 3 world class fighters in each division and 40 in the world :huh.....sylvester is world class :deal

Well, depends on the rankings too. Gary Lockett was know to be a good "domestic level" fighter but was ranked higher. Did his performance hold up to "world class". Being #49 doesn't mean you should be jetting off to other countries to take on their best. I think your definition is a bit too broad.

    What's to say?

Two gutless cherry pickers with no power.

Could go either way, my gut says Mundine.

How is he Sturm's mandatory? He's never even fought a fight at 160. That's ludicrous.

Well, someone said that Mundine is #1. I just checked. I have said REPEATEDLY since Mundine vacated, don't know about this thread, that you had to KNOW Mundine was promised a title shot at 160 when he vacated for Kessler. This isn't that hard to figure out is it?

Strum is a very good technical boxer, and isn't liked for not being a brawler....ok....well he can join Paul Pender in being an unliked champ.
He might well out box Mudain, and not because it is in Germany. The judges are not German.
I think he's faster, but the reach of Mudain will come into play.
    Mudain height5′ 11″ / 180cm,,,,,,,,,,reach70“ / 178cm
1 inch short for his height.

    Strum 5′ 11½″ / 181cm, when they don't mention the reach...means short arms...
    Reach should be fairly close.....
If so, then Strum is faster, throws straight punches and is better trained.

sturm is not faster than mundine, if mundine is comfortable at 160, {which as people have said hes never been there, so no one knows how he will perform}, but if hes as comfortable at 160 as he was at 168, he will toy with sturm dominate him entirely, until stopping him in the mid - late rounds

mundine only gets beat by fighters who hold significant physical advantages , eg height, reach, power, speed or do something a lot better than him, sturm has none of those advantages and does nothing significantly better than mundine

somebody who cant impose themself physically upon mundine and bully him is not gonna beat him

If this fight ever came off (and I seriously doubt it), . . . Sturm would win a descision easily. All those predicting a Mundine stoppage obviously have not seen his past 4 performances. The guy couldn't even hurt a blown up welterweight in his last fight who had been fighting corpses his entire career.

If the was made it would most likely be in Germany and Mundine simply does not have the workrate to convincingly win a descision. And we can all see he has no power as he has dropped in weight. He hasn't even been close to knocking anyone down let along stopping anyone in his past 4 outages against very mediocre class fighters.
