I think we're all happy now that Dirrell that ***** didn't get the decision :hi: Americans do it all the time, ask the guy who is fighting in 10 minutes :deal
He's a solid if unspectacular type, who doesn't waste punches and can move well. He's the type who tries to react to his opponent's gameplan rather than set out with his own strategy. Not a bad jab either and a good 12 round fighter. He's not bad,and could surprise a few people tonight, but I still feel if Sturm has a big fight left in him,he'll get by Geale.
today in a German news Sturm said he's 90% sure he'll drop the WBA belt if he wins. Some posted a links earlier
I think geale is quick with a high workrate and moves in and out pretty good. I feel like he throws alot of unecessary punches and hes gonna run into that jab and get slowly broken down.
Yeah...not to derail the thread too much, but what Dirrell put on was not a boxing clinic. It was a clinic alright, in negativity. He succeed in rendering Froch largely ineffective and making him look horrible for long stretches. However, it wasn't like he was doing good work himself. It was as frustrating to watch & score as Mora vs. Mosley, absolutely wretched. One of those where it deserves to be a loss on both guys' records, or a No Contest. There just wasn't enough quality in most rounds to say one had done at all well, it was more down to "who was less shitty and ineffective".
Hoping for a draw or a Geale win. Expecting a UD for Catic, who drops the WBA belt right after though :!:
