Round 12 Sturm catches a few Geale rights on his glove, but one gets through and taps him on the eye. Sturm is getting backed up, jabbing once at a time. Geale enjoys pressing the attack, clapping hooks all over Sturm's guard. Double jab by Sturm, regaining generalship. Geale pushes him into a corner with a long combination as Sturm swaddles his face. Right to the body by Geale. Sturm circles right, keeping distance. High jab by Sturm, and Geale ducks past it to jab the body. Right hand by Sturm, trying to chop Geale away. Big flurry by Geale pushing ahead. Shoeshine to the body by Geale. They clinch and Geale bops Sturm on the head with the bottom of his right glove. Triple jab by Sturm, straight and stiff, trying to corral Geale to the ropes. Geale walks Sturm out to the middle of the ring, doubles his jab, and lands a HARD tomahawk right to the face. They push back and forth over the final twenty seconds, each scoring and coming forward for spells. 10-9 Geale 115-113 Sturm
5-7 Geale. That round was also Geale. IB i for the must agree with your cards, but not this time mate
I have it 114-114 last round Geale! Very few clear rounds. Strum will probably win in Germany, can't really argue too much either way
10-9 Geale I think Geale out worked and out hearted Sturm in the Championship rounds, but it's Germany so Sturm probably wins unanimously 116-112 115-113 Geale
Abraham vs. Stieglitz last week was more fun (and mostly easier to score) but this wasn't boring at all.
Sturm v Geale 1. 9-10 2. 10-9 3. 10-9 4. 10-9 5. 9-10 6. 9-10 7. 9-10 8. 10-9 9. 9-10 10. 9-10 11. 10-9 12. 9-10 113-115 Extremely close fight. There can really be no robbery in this one. I suppose Sturm is going to get the decision (I can definitely see the fight being scored in favour of Sturm) but Geale performed extremely well and his career should take no damage. I'd love this fight to be scored a draw.
