Weak. Better than Koji Sato, but still weak after teasing Mayorga and Cintron.

Sturm changes opponents more often then he changes waist size.

I thought a Mayorga fight was set in stone, guess I was mis-informed.

I would have preferred all the other mentioned opponents-Mayorga, Rubio, and even Cintron over Lorenzo. I understand Sturm hasn't fought in over so I didn't expect to see him facing Williams, Pavlik, etc but Lorenzo is a weaker opponent than he should have faced. I know Sturm has made a habit of making defenses against non-elites but I had hoped he would turn a new leaf after his contract issues. It seems we will get the same old Sturm opponents from now on.

Sturm didn't want no part of a Mayorga karate chop.

I liked the Rubio fight myself. A respectable, but ultimately beatable, opponent after a long period of inactivity.

Lorenzo lost to Marquez who was coming off a draw with McKart. In my mind Lorenzo isn't even a decent "tune-up."

Lorenzos stupid man. He had an IBF eliminator against macklin but Macklin pulled out. Im guessing this makes Lorenzo mandatory or at least guarantees him another eliminator. The IBF champ is sylvester who is well poor Aand only beat lorenzo on a split decision. Lorenzo should have went the IBF route
