    Macklin looks tired now. He needs a second wind. If he could come on strong like he did in the earily round for a round or two he can stop STrum.

    Macklin has a fire lit under him as he comes on and blasts away with body shots. Sturm is just prodded back all the way to the corner, turning and still getting driven back. Macklin landing his jab better as Sturm steals quick glances out of his peekaboo stance and only flicks his own jab blindly. Macklin lost his mouthpiece. Macklin throwing hard stuff, hooking to the head and body. Sturm is throwing very little, just getting pushed around. Reaching right ot the body by Sturm, who isn't finding his countering precision anymore. Macklin is just wailing away at him, hitting a lot of guard but making clean contact as well and doing loads more work. Clinch

    First minute of this 9th is close. Sturm's landed strong punches, but Macklin is coming back with his workrate now.

    This short break will do Sturm some good.

    Some great body work again by Macklin. Sturm is being pushed back too easily, and he's let that round go to Macklin.

    5-4 to Macklin.
