    Macklin going all out in this first round. Big round for Macklin. That is no way a Sturm runde....hopefully, none of the judges give it to him.

    Respect? Respect for what? Guys that dont want to fight the best? I'll reserve my respect to the guys that are actually good for boxing and try to make the best fights they can.

    And I'm not from the south you ******* get some knowledge before you throw out geographical insults.:roll:

    Busy jabs high by Macklin, for the opening twenty seconds before he turns his gloves upside down and works the body. BIG COMBO by Macklin!!! Sturm is covering up and getting pushed back! Finally Sturm wakes up and starts to snap his jab and hold his ground. Macklin lands a jab and then slips one of Sturm's! Hard right to the body by Macklin. Sturm has a jab blocked. Now a jab and a quick left hook are slipped as Macklin dodges to the side and then straight back. Triple jab to the body and head by Sturm, suddenly very sharp. Macklin throws an uppercut into the guard. They lean together, each pressing their forearms against the parallel set of the other. Macklin is working the body VERY well. Uppercuts with both hands beneath the elbows of Sturm. Here's a lone uppercut in answer by Sturm. Jab high, right to the body by Macklin.

    Wow, someone agrees with me on that...! I can't stand the fiesta de excremento that they put on for every single reasonably big fight. Okay, the occasional fighter will have a flamboyant entrance regardless of where he's fighting (because that's his personality), but they constantly lay it on thick it such a cringe inducing and humourless way. Nothing against Germany or German people, by the way, but I would much rather see something approaching a proper entrance the vast majority of the time.

    He brings it out of me. His career has been a joke esp lately with all the WBA titles being handed out and just so happens to be when it's his best madatories and have a shot to beat him. If it was Noe Alcoba I doubt he'd get his own title and Strum wouldnt fight him.:patsch

    Sturm's punches have more in them. He's had a few good moments in the second round. Macklin stole the round with more activity I think.
