Both ladies got rocked in a wild tenth. Both are hoisted up on their corners' shoulders and salute the crowd before the score announcement.

Another busy huh IB, you still have Mikhaylenko, Lepikhin, Mansor, Abregu-Ali and BHop Kovalev to come, you're going to be worn out for the big finale.

Sturm hasn’t looked good recently, his last truly impressive performances were in 2011. I think he’s a good fighter and was a genuine world level contender but he’s been losing, fighting overmatched opponents or getting by on freak / lucky results since then. If Sturm was in his prime – which I am convinced is no longer the case – and not stepping up in weight, I’d pick him but all the signs point toward a Stieglitz UD tonight.

    Round 1

Kretschmann is advancing on Gegeshidze with his right jab. Gegeshidze rows out a few left jabs and holds. Gegeshidze trots away, flab jiggling around his pasty white midsection. Kretschmann is ducking and slipping the backfoot 1-2 of Gegeshidze and chasing him across the ring with just the southpaw jab. Kretschmann digs a left uppercut on the flabby gut of Gegeshidze, hurting him. Gegeshidze skitters away, throwing 1-2s into Kretschmann's guard. Kretschmann lands a big 1-2 on the face as Gegeshidze backs into a corner. Gegeshidze tries holding but Kretschmann pushes his arms down. Gegeshidze shuffles away.

    10-9 Kretschmann

I thought he looked good in KOing Radosevic and Barker in 2013.

Sturm was a long-time champion, not a contender.

I'd like to see him defeat Stieglitz but realistically his activity is now too small to outpoint Stieglitz. I'd like to be proven wrong, but Sturm is the underdog here and I don't like his chances.
