Agreed. I just watched the fight again, and I now feel more strongly than ever that Sturm clearly won that fight.

Sturm won by a few rounds IMO.

 

Will Sturm look to fight Soliman again? Shame Sam doesn't have some sort of a title.
Remains to be seen if Sturm can string together more than one good performance at a time. At his age he doesn't seem to be able to put a good run of fights together any more. One great performance....then he relapses...

 

In my book a draw is an ok decision. I had Sturm winning by a round or two but it was a hell of a fight and both gave everything they got. This is how fights should look like!

Sturm says that they don´t need a title or titelfights. They need to fighting each other like this fight. Four good MW/SMW Boxers at Sat1 and they can fight each other so they had a save Job for the next three years.

I personaly think no one of the three will fight against Golovkin. Sturm, Stieglitz had no chance against GGG, Abraham maybe a little Puncher chance.

Now with Sauerland at Sat1-TV I hope we Boxingfans could get great fights in the future.

 

Of course he says that because Sturm is a big payday to him. When they asked Hopkins if he thought ODLH won vs. Sturm he said "Yes he won, I will fight him next" :rofl

 

Sturm is way better than Stieglitz. Stieglitz is so average, its crazy that he was a world champion. Sturm won a close fight imo. Abraham will beat stieglitz again and after that KO sturm. Ggg would beat Them all in one night in 12 rounds

 

imo Kevor was robbed vs Sturm.

Macklin clearly beat Sturm but was robbed

I think Murray was gifted that he got a draw vs Sturm

The Geale fight was very close and the decision could have gone either way.

Soliman won both fights vs Sturm

 

I thought Sturm lost to Gevor and clearly lost to Macklin, Soliman I and Geale.

I thought he beat Stieglitz, Murray and, of course, DLH.

Had a draw in Griffin I.

 

So far the best fight was made tonight Felix Sturm vs Robert Stieglitz.
