I heard he was Zbik's trainer before he was Sturm's.

What happened with the fallout? Bad terms?

All Zbik did was throw pitter-patter flurries with no power whatsoever. Just shows how shitty JCC jr is for struggling with him.

I wonder what the punch stats for this fight were. Zbik probably landed < 20%

    agreed
if he would have paced himself better in the beginning he would still have lost a lopsided UD bar a lucky punch

Only middleweight I wouldn't favor him over (and that includes the two Brits in rematches)

Maravilla would figure out a way to get past the ramrod jab and high guard, just as he did against Barker (although Sturm's a bit better at both things than Barker)

I would favor Maravilla in the states but Sturm in Germany. Pretty open fight.

Think he uses his tongue and "Lil Felix" the same way he uses his jab? :yep Flicking it in and out of her in laser-straight, hard, repetitive motions for 36 minutes in a row?

Sdunek was a Unviversum Box Promotion Trainer. He also trained Boytsov, Gevor, Dimitrenko at that time. He spit with after he got Cancer and decided just to train Sturm and Vitali in the future.

I feel most guys play into Sturms hands

he puts up the high guard and many go straight on or stand in front of the high guard in his wheel house

Sturm is tricky because he is tough inside and outside, solid jab, puzzling defense, good chin, Ring IQ, experience etc

if only Sturm committed to the power more

any way Martinez will do what most guys dont and give him lots of lateral movement...Martinez has been far from perfect in his last 2 fights but he finds a way to win and doesnt quit on himself

Sturm though would possibly the toughest fight to date

Maybe as his last fight under the sat1-contract in Germany or as first when it expires in the USA.
Felix won't be around forever and Martinez is a nice cashout-fight.

I think Chavez would TKO Sturm late, mainly because Chavez loves going to the body and his physical size.
