By the way - for anyone who is confused: Boxrec is wrong. They have it listed as "RTD8" and say in the description that Zbik quit before the start of the 9th.

It's a RTD9; he quit before the start of the 10th.

    Nine rounds were completed.

Of course, this only matters really to people betting on the Over/Under - and in 12 round championship fights those are usually set at 9.5 (including on our vBookie threads) so the Under is the winning option here either way.

If you bet "Over 8.5 rounds" somewhere, Boxrec's fake result would lead you to think you lost - when in fact you WON!

I'd have to put Sturm/Martinez as a pick'em fight for me at this point. Sturm is seasoned enough that he wouldn't be pumping out a jab that keeps missing. His experience and speed would cause Sergio trouble and Sturm is pretty solid fundamentally.

Golovkin beats the **** out of them all at 160. Hopefully Sturm actually steps up and faces him now instead of trying to prolonge it even more. He's been avoinding Gena like the black blague.

Let's hope that now he's with K2 they have enough clout to force the issue.

Hopefully. Said it before and i'll say it again, nobody at 160 would handle the best of Golovkin, Martinez included. He is that good. But his inactivity is worrying. He looked very rusty against Ouma. Strange move signing with K2 and he has only boxed 1 round under them so far. He needs to be out again very quickly and not be waiting on the WBA to mandate the Sturm fight because he will probably weasel out of it anyway.
