Its funny, since when does a list of drugs to be tested for be included in a fighters contract? not to mention it was reported and quoted from Solimans camp that they couldnt get a list of what sturm was going to be tested for. if they really wanted to know then they would have jumped on the WADA site and obtained the list of banned substances. The propaganda being spready by Solimans camp also wont go down well with the germans, he claims he has been vindicated by the testing of the B sample in USA yet not one mention that they only tested for whats on the IBF list not the WADA list, sneaky fckers arent they. If the BDB has no authority on this, didnt sanction the bout, then why cant the IBF do anything? why are they waiting on the BDB appeal process? and why did the BDB change the result if they are not the authority in charge? I belive i know enough info to gauge whats going on. Pretty sneaky of them to send his B sample to a lab in USA that doesnt even do WADA testing and have them test for substances but not test for the one he tested positive for and then have the gaul to say he has been vindicated due to this. Its a slap in the face for anti doping in sports.
I have changed my mind on Soliman at first I thought because he was involved with or went to Tony Doherty's gym he might be guilty of cheating. but if all this ASADA stuff has taught us anything it's that all athletes are looking for a edge legally because sport is big business. But because of the difference in the IBF's list of banned substances and WADA's he got caught out on a technicality. But yeah even before this he fought several eliminators and won with no dramas and got put off because of politics e.g The Geale-Mundine fight was approved because it was a bigger money fight so Sam had to get back in line.
Yeah he has been shafted for ages. Id like to see him go for a different belt....he has shown too much faith in the IBF and they have screwed him time and time again. Like I said previous.....this next fight should see him ranked in 2 divisions..should he win.

His fight against Lorenzo was IBF middleweight title Final eliminator. He also fought Joval in 2004 in an IBF middleweight title eliminator and nothing come from it. I dont know why you feel pitty for Sam, all he had to do was wait till the Mundine fight was over and then he would have had his crack at Geale but he got Greedy and decided to take a fight in Germany rather than wait for Geale to fight Mundine, its always been a problem with Sam, he is a very greedy boxer and not a smart one at that.
