BooRadley you are a ****ing joke. I wish that someone had lifetime bet you before the Pavlik fight but unfortunately it didn't happen. Martinez should by rights have three quality names on his record not one. How come Pavlik was weight drained against Martinez but not Espino? And how does Pavliks cutman diminish the win in any way? More to the point why can you still not accept that Martinez was/is the better fighter and clearly beat your man!

By the way I voted for Trinidad by KO

Martinez has a great shot here. Tito can't deal with lateral movement too well.

It depends on the ring size and venue.
With a big enough ring and a crowd/panel willing to give Sergio rounds, I see him giving an opponent respect for once and putting his hands up... to about nipple height, sure, but it'd still be an improvement and maybe enough of one to squeak a decision.

The fact that Pavlik lost to a clown like Martinez makes retirement a viable option. That was one of the most embarrasng performances I have ever seen from a so called "world champion," and he still won 5 rounds. Martinez has over taken Abraham's place in the sport, and is now the single most over rated fighter on the planet.

Ok so Martinez clearly winning the first four rounds, then dropping his output and Pavlik making some adjustments to pick up some middle rounds, before once again upping his output and closing the show to win 8 - 4 as a light middleweight fighting the middleweight champ is all due to Pavliks embarassing performance?

I didnt see anything different from Pavlik from what he showed me against Taylor, and against Hopkins and Espino and EVERY OPPONENT HE EVER FACED! The guy is one dimensional, he is good at that one dimension but as I told you before the fight he can't deal with lateral movement and has to set his feet to punch. You said before the fight that you felt Martinez beat Williams, and everyone knows that he beat Cintron so how is he overrated?

Are you telling me that Trinidad dealt with lateral movement well?

    That is incorrect.

Futhermore, if you think Martinez faced the same fighter that Zuniga, Miranda, and Taylor faced, there is no point in any further discussion.

You are one mighty butthurt man, boo.

Tearing down an elite fighter to make your ex out to be a C-class fighter?
I still think you should have left your pre-fight posts up, to help keep yourself honest.
You were comparing yourself unfavorably to farmboxer after re-reading them, ffs...
It's healthy to have a nice slice of crow around to prevent future anal wreckage.

Martinez isn't a great "boxer", he relies on athleticism and speed. Alot of the things he does you wouldn't teach young fighters, like holding his hands low, constantly being off balance, pulling straight back. He's a gambler. He gambles on his speed and sometimes stays in there too long. If he does this with Tito he goes to sleep.

I'm not saying Tito massacres him, no way. Sergio can be competitive with anyone. I just think Tito catches him eventually.

    Prime for prime?

Tito stops Maravilla, and I am a huge Martinez fan.
Sergio is rolling high on ESB after arguably defeating Williams and whooping Kelly Pavlik, I picked him in both those fights, but I'd definitely pick Tito here.

Tito gives him far more dimensions to worry about than flawed guys like Williams and Pavlik.
