Mayweather has never EVER fought anyone better than Trinidad.

He fought a past prime DLH
HE fought a small flabby Marquez

He has never fought anyone with Tito's accuracy, power, and size... Never

Tito has never fought anyone better than PBF.:deal

He beat Oscar with a stacked deck at 154
He tools any version of JMM even JMM doesn't want that work again.

Tito has never fought anyone with PBF defense ring IQ speed reflexes counter punching never. He beat a cracked out Pea and got abused by Hopkins at 160. PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Tito period.

These are interesting matchups. I think the consensus is Manny would have the cojones to actually fight tito and would likely get clipped as Tito was a big strong WW with legendary power. I can agree with that scenario but Manny would land some shots and itd be action packed as long as it lasted. That being said if the tiny Marquez could put manny to sleep i dont even want to know what would happen if tito connected with a similar shot.

Now the floyd fight is far more interesting because we all know floyd would be on his bike from the opening bell. Floyd is also smaller and arguably not as strong as tito was. Canelo is a terrible comparison because he tried to outbox floyd instead of using his advantages so the fight would absolutely not look like that. I think the fight would come down to two things:

    1. How does Tito handle Floyd in the clinch? Tito was very good in the clinch creating space to unleash short powerful punches and with his size advantage he could take advantage of this.
    2. Could floyd avoid getting hit by titos power for all 12 rounds? What happens to floyd if tito catches him with a shot like moseley caught him with? Night night! fights over! No way floyd takes a shot from floyd like that. Or heck the shot that Maidana caught him with in the second fight coming from tito would be a disaster. Id pick Floyd but im shaky at best on it. Tito was never beaten at ww and was an absolute power house the likes of which we havent seen since in the power punching department. Toss up fight at best.

Hes never fought anyone better than tito? hes never fought anyone even as good nevermind better.

Prime oscar was beating tito the first 3 rounds but then tasted titos power in the 4th and got on his bike for the rest of the fight especially the last 4 rounds. Oscar was bigger, stronger, nearly as fast and just as smart as Floyd and he wanted no parts of Tito in a fight. Floyd runs for his life and problably gets a close decision if he doesnt get clipped and ko`d.

How is a small light punching fighter a stylistic nightmare for a massive punching long armed welter???

    Honestly sometimes you Floyd fans.

Floyd is great but the only reason he moved up from anything above 140 is because the divisions are so dammed weak.

He doesn't go anywhere near a prime Tito.

Floyd would have a panic attack in that fight. Look at how scared he fought against little Pac. :smoke

Tito is a 5.11 punching machine. Floyd does not have enough pop to keep him at distance.

All i'm gonna say is this, Floyd wouldn't be able to recover from a punch against Tito like he did with Mosley on that second round. And Tito is one of the best finishers ever. To be honest , I don't think see Floyd would have taken this fight. As for Pac, he would get KO'ed worst than Marquez, if theres such a thing. Just because of Pac style.

LOL PRIME Trinidad would have beaten all these guys too (at the stage Floyd fought them). He would have knocked most of them out.

Trinidad beat a PRIME Oscar, man. Floyd beat a PAST PRIME Oscar.

None of them hit as hard as Tito. De la Hoya was past his prime when Floyd fought him, and he still gave Floyd problems. Same with Pac. I'm a Mayweather fan, but this fight wouldn't be easy for Floyd.

Because PBF has too much speed defense reflexes for Tito. Tito could be out manuevered around the ring he wasn't fast and he could be outboxed.
