Felix Tito Trinidad " I Would Have Knocked Out Canelo Alvarez "

Trinidad destroys Canelo. Canelo simply doesn't have the necessary tools to beat him. Add in the the fact that Canelos stamina is below average and I see a late stoppage for Trinidad. But Trinidad gets knocked down once or twice.

 

Canelo doesn't have the footwork to stay away from him. So yes, he would get blasted.

 

That kind of stationary target that Canelo is, against Tito. You can't not move against Tito and try to counter him. Not at WW or JMW. He'll ice you.

 

50/50 fight, imo.

 

Tito ruins him.

 

He doesn't last three rounds.

He hammered a bigger better version in Vargas.

Canelo only does ok now due to it being a **** poor era.

24 year old canelo vs 24 year old trinidad, canelo wins every time, canelo too big too strong for a 24 year old tito. prime for prime is still too hard to decide, we'll know more after seeing canelo fight 3-4 more years.

 

I think it would actually look a lot like Tito Vargas. Canelo would have some success early but would ultimately be doomed by his always there to hit style. Everyone Tito was beat by had either amazing defense or had the style or ability to keep him off and the focus/want to keep him off, standing in front of Tito trying to get your own meaningful shots in was hazardous to your health.

 

**** poor era? lol 147-152 is as stacked as any era. mayweather, pacquiao, mattyhsse, garcia, maidana, brooks, thurman, porter etc etc mayweather and pac are atgs the rest have plenty of year of exciting matchups ahead of them.
