Canelo has underrated defense and has never been down. not sure really sure why everybody is so sure that trinidad just runs right through him.

    This.

My initial reaction upon reading the thread title was to agree with it but was not equally convinced on second thought. Both Reid and Vargas(both somewhat green) troubled him.

Still give the edge to Tito right now but we'll see what Canelo does in the next couple of years.

:huh David and Fernando may have troubled Tito but I'd pick both against Canelo as well. I see no scenario in which Canelo could win.

couldnt knock out david reid at 154 so no
he could still pop, but his power was deadly at 147

Sure there is. Trinidad showed that he could be outboxed and hurt at times. Canelo is a strong JrMW with some underrated boxing skills and some decent speed and pop. Again, at this point I would still favor Tito but this is by no means the slam-dunk for Trinidad everyone here seems to think.:deal

And in regards to Reid and Vargas, IMO, Canelo is in the very least on the same league as those two.

Even canelo himself wouldn't understand why some people overrate him to no end. Canelo is not as good as vargas, period

The boy hasn't even been in a war before. And i can't remember the last time canelo fought q prime big puncher. At 154 would be murder. When cotto takes care of him, this thread would be pure comedy

Easily? Lol better hire capetillo then. Like i said, he hasn't even been in an all out war before. How do you know how he's gonna react to that? Or to be hit by a big puncher again and again? Because he will get hit.

Never mind tito. Thats just bullying
