Felix Tito Trinidad vs Errol Spence at catch weight of 150!

    who wins this and how? As good as Spence is, I don’t see him beating a prime Tito. Too much power, too accurate.

    Thoughts?

    No catchweight needed. Tito was a welterweight champion for a very long time. Possibly the best welterweight to come out of PR.

    I don't think any of the WW today can compete with the WW of the 90s.

    The only way to beat a WW Tito was by doing what Oscar did, fight on your toes for 12 rounds.

    Tito wasn't a career 140 pounder Paulie level featherfist like Algieri who was 1-2 in his last 3 fights

    He wasn't a career 140 pounder featherfist Peterson who should've been 1-2 in his last 3 fights

    He wasn't a blown up 135 pounder Mikey who was fighting in his 5th weight class against a boiled down 154 pounder either

    And he wasn't a damaged goods Brook who was coming off a stoppage loss, a beating, a terrible eye injury and gruesome surgery to repair it, back down from 160 after bulking up to fight up there, and who only really had one world class win which was a razor-close SD.

    Of the 4 world class fighters Spence has fought only 1 was his own size, 2 were complete featherfists even when fighting down at their natural weight, one of the others was a big puncher but down at 135 and below mainly, and the other could crack but he's certainly no Tito KO artist whose devastating power was proven at 147, 154, and even up at 160.

    Prime Tito was a beast

    Pick Tito up and drop him in to any era against anyone and they've got major problems, all the big names of the past, they all could lose to Tito. The only fighter I think cracks him early in a shoot out is Hearns, but the same could happen to Hearns with Tito's left hook. Great fighter

    One of the only fighters I didn't care or worry to much about being dropped, it was always a sign the beating was coming as soon as he got up

    Prime Tito would beat everyone at 147 and 154 today and pretty much everyone sans maybe one or two at 160 as well. That left hook of his could decapitate a statue.

    We are here again I see..Tito's power is special, the left hook is ohh la la, so to speak, (excuse my French)….But theres something telling me I might be one of very very few that could take that hook and comeback from it !

    On the street of course, I wouldn't have the cardio to go more than 3 in the ring, im not stupid !

    lol Yeah me too. Whenever I praise a fighter's power I'm never thinking about the effect their shots would have on my titanium mandible because there would be no effect.

    A world title certainly wouldn't have eluded me had I turned pro 5-10 years ago as opposed to back when I did.
