Even IF Curry was 100%, who knows? Maybe Honeyghan just had his number.

But Trinidad's style was more suited to deal with Honeyghan that Curry's style was.

Curry was more of a patient, methodical type fighter. He was brilliant against boxer types who gave him room to operate (Larocca, McCrory). But Honeyghan's unorthodox aggression threw him off.

It wouldn't throw off Tito though. Trinidad LIVED for aggressive fighters. I think people tend to forget how good a counter puncher Tito was. What they DON'T forget is that power. Honeyghan wouldn't handle too many counter Tito hooks.

Like I said, fun war while it lasts, but it ends with Honeyghan flat on his face, like Maurice Blocker.

Oddly enough, I feel Curry had the style to beat Tito. Funny how styles work.

Lets instead consider the master boxer lloyd who beat rosi,mittee,and shufford rather than the curry/blocker versiin who was more aggressive.....tgat honeyghan had tge skills to outbox tito and tge power to make him very wary.

Its a shame lloyd let the title go to his head and tgereafter neglected his considerable boxing skills

As,a,result he is very underated.
