YESS... Tito with one punch had the ability to turn around a fight as to B-Hop is more of acumulation type of fighter. We are not saying that Tito is a better al rounded fighter than B-Hop. But he sure was more dangerous than B-Hop if we take, Tito's best punch against B-Hop's best punch. Sorry if you don't see it.

tito did obv have power at 160. pav/2001 tito would be a good fight.

tito obviously still wants to make some money. it's a shame he can't be motivated to make 154 (or 160) as it looked as if he could still win some fights vs decent opposition and maybe get a title shot which would almost undoubtedly sell. why has he wasted so much time fighting so infrequently over the past 5 years? guess it's all motivation and he was just looking for money (ala the jones/tito exhibition at 170)

Are you talking about relative power in regards to their best weight classes or overall power? Because if you are talking about overall power, i think it's Hopkins. Relative to weight? I'll give you Tito.

If Tito gets the cement hand wrap treatment then its an early ko. If not then its a UD win for Tito. Kelly doesn't have the angles, rythym or footwork to get to Tito.

I am talking about punch power. Physically B-Hop is a strong fighter over all but Tito hits harder. That's my point. Anyway, they both have different ways to beat you... B-Hop is more mothodical and will break you down little by little by taking away your strengts and expliding your weaknesses. Tito was more of search and destroy one punch at a time.

People are completely underrating Pavlik now. He eats smaller fighters with decent chins and not so good defense for breakfast. Tito would be stopped faster than Taylor was the first time.

I'm not making a pick. But regarding to punching power, I don't think it's a contest between B-Hop and Trinidad. If Trinidad (obviously big if) had Hopkins skills and could land as frequently as Hopkins does, he would be completely unstoppable. Just ask Joppy.

Why does Trinidad get so underrated at 160 pounds? Trinidad has no power abov 147 pounds? GTFO. Tell that to Reid, Vargas, Thiam,..and Joppy, a guy who was at his best when he got starched in 5 by Trinidad. Hopkins and Taylor couldn't do that when he was way past it.

That said, I'd pick Pavlik to knock him out. Too big, too strong and he will back Trinidad up.

Well, Joppy is a bad example. By the time Hopkins fought Joppy, he was a very defensive fighter. He was no longer the "Executioner".

If we are talking about h2h power, i still say it's Hopkins. When he decides to sit down on his punches, he can bang. Tito's power at 160 was vastly overrated IMO.

He was winging away at Winky and Winky simply laughed at his power shots. Mayorga is Mayorga. A lot of people can make him look bad and it took Trinidad countless power shots to eventually hurt him. Not what you would call "one punch" power at 160.

It's not about being a puncher. I'm simply comparing the power of Tito at 160+ and Hopkins at 170-175. Who has more behind their punches? I say Hopkins. I say that Tito's power at 160+ is vastly overrated.

Winky hardly got hit flush in that fight. Even though Hopkins was more defensive, he still hit Joppy with a ton of flush, hard punches to the head. ****, Taylor's never been very defensive and hit Joppy with everything and didn't do as much damage as Tito.
