An illegal substance in your hand and your knuckles over-wrapped are two different things. Tito's knucles were wrapped with extra tape which was probably more to protect his hands and offcourse Bernard used that against Trinidad not because he was cheating, but because he figured it would get under his skin. Not to mention that having your hands wrapped in a way your not used to bothers your hands and your ability to close your fist in a way that feels comfortable to you. Maragarito was found with illegal padding which could indicate he was trying to cheat. I think we should wait to see what the investigation concludes before we put Margarito down. The padding might have just been to protect his knuckles from a recurring injury. I heard it was confirmed they were illegal, but I haven't checkd on the other sites to see a statment of some sort. Lets wait and see.

:yep Exactly I'm sick of the Margosexuals trying to talk about other fighters, None of the guys named included Tito ever loaded thier wraps up with an illegal foriegn substance, which is not only grounds for a life time ban but criminal charges as well.

MARGO CHEATED! AND IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO PROVE IT. THE FACTS WERE ALREADY LAID OUT!!

he was FOUND with foreign substance(means it doesn't comply with the hand wrapping rules). What they are trying to do now is identify the chemical composition of that substance, thats why they said it was still unproven.

BUT what is already PROVEN is that he was FOUND guilty of using that foreign substance to load his gloves.

SO CUT THE CRAP WITH THAT UNPROVEN BS! I hope it already gets into your head for those who still don't get it

This 2 cents guy is just a troll, or a seriously limited person who can't really analyze and comprehend situations correctly. Margarito is going to face trial for this, so until a final verdict is confirmed I wont say he is guilty (regardless how suspicious it looks). On the other hand, Tito never had his license suspended, never faced trial and nothing was ever found on his gloves that was not supposed to be there. Take into consideration Hopkins behavior through out the whole promotion of their fight, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that Hopkins main goal was to get into Tito's head and make him fight the wrong fight.

What Tito did was with tape, what Margo did was put cement which is what the guys on PTI said today, in his gloves....I know that he didnt put cement but it was something, that wasnt tape and/or gauze....

Margarito was found (allegedly) with plaster in his gloves. Can you tell me what was illegal about Tito's wraps. To this day not one person can say exactly what about them was in violation of the rules.

We should make a rule here on the board from now on. If you can't specify exactly what rule Tito broke you should have to add the words "I am a moronic hater" at the end of any post calling him a cheater

Honestly I'm not sure, but different states have different rules and breaking one doesn't mean you have "loaded" gloves. Either way, I think the main problem was that Tito had tape on the skin of his knuckles and had too much gauze... what amount? like I said I'm not sure, I'm just repeating what some posters have told me. Doesn't it just sound like the perfect way to make your gloves display an extra pop :think ?

What Tito did was put tape around his hands compacting the bones and making the hand harder under his regular wrap...It was a no no, but nothing compared to what Margo tried to get away with. Its like the difference between stealing a candy bar or a car:hey
