Just read the following on Fightnews.com this morning

In the "WBA – KO Drugs" Festival official weigh-in ceremony held on Wednesday afternoon on the outside of the Crown Casino in Panama City all participants made the required weight before a huge crowd that attended the event. The card will take place on Thursday at the Centro de Convenciones Figali, from 7pm.
Anselmo Moreno 118 vs Cecilio Santos 117
    (WBA Bantamweight title)
Celestino Caballero 122 vs Elvis Mejia 122
    (WBA super bantamweight title)
Ricardo Cordoba 122 vs Luis Perez 122
    (WBA interim super bantamweight title)
Luis Pineda 200 vs Francisco Palacios 195
Ameth Diaz 135 vs Raymundo Beltran 134
No weights announced for the exhibition match between WBA Executive VP Gilberto Jesus Mendoza and ring legend Felix "Tito" Trinidad.

Does anybody know anything about this? I havent heard ANYTHING about this.

I don't know anything about it but these legendary fighter vs. important man (like boss Mendoza) 'exhibition fights' are usually staged circus shows for the public. I wouldn't even say light sparring. They'll just push their hands towards each other with a lot of smile, acting, etc... kind of fun with T-shirts on, but nothing close to boxing.

But hey, that's a good thing, gets people's attention no to use drugs.

I do think it's pretty ridiculous. But, against old roy jones, he was no match. I heard he needs the money. That's why he is still in the spotlight.

Why is this news? Tito already fought an exhibition match, against Roy Jones. And it was garbage.

Nop he doesnt need the money at all. This is an exhibition match for a charitable cause, nothing wrong with that

To me him and de la Hoya are the figth I wanna see,for settelling the score, for legacy, for pride, for money and retirement for both.Problem is he said a while a go(or Papa Trinidad did) that he can't go under 165 where DLH wil never fight him

Yeah I agree with you. Hopkins and DLH should be his last two fights, but they should be somewhere around 160. I believe that for the right amount of money Papa Trinidad will change his mind

He prolly just wants to have a good reirement(this time premanenetly). He will be remebered regardless if he fights or not.And with the right money anything can happen but with another big layoff don't see him beating anybody big
