Even if that fight did hold some credibilty Hopkins will be targeting a fight with Roy Jones after the Calzaghe fight then retirement. Could happen if he loses I guess but I think he'll retire if he loses.

he should fight pavlik. despite all the talk i think andy lee wont fight pavlik til next year at the earliest. pavlik might get another belt holder in the ring this year, but if he doesn't he should fight trinidad.

pavlik deserves a high profile fight

He should fight someone he can beat, like a natural 147er or 154er.

I think the writing on the wall is there for tito-DLH 2 to be made near the end of the year, so if Tito's fighting in june it'll likely be @160 against a beatable but sellable opponent to get him back in the win column.
He most certainly is NOT gonna fight Pavlik, he has no interest in something like that. He's just looking to join the senior's tour and make some money along with the other stars of his generation. HIS generation, not THIS generation, mind you.

If Tito wants to return to the ring he first needs to quit returning to the pie shop

I don't know if he should fight on, but if he really wants, he should return to 160 and fight a top 10-25 guy first. The mail thing is: Tito never became old, he was just outboxed by 3 better (very skilled) fighters.

As he didn't have a lot of fights in the past years, and he didn't look old the last time either,
-he needs to get the ring rust off in a tune-up fight or two
-he's got a lot of fights in him anyway

So if he really wants to fight on, he should fight guys with an exciting style - like Zuniga, Castillejo, maybe Duddy, Rubio, Bunema.

The first one was boring as hell. Now they are old.

Them being old might make for a better fight. I don't think Oscar has the legs anymore to move as much as he did the first time, which was the main thing that kept the fight from being exciting.

Tito vs. Pavlik? What in your right mind makes you think that Tito can bang with Kelly Pavlik at 160 pounds?? I'm starting to think that maybe Tito was never as good as we thought. The guy always got hit too much in fights, he was easily unsettled, and had very little power capability above 147. As soon as he lost the discipline to make 147 his career tanked. He should be happy with his wins over Trinidad, Mayorga, and Oscar, and he should hang em up. I don't think he has a chance against any of these guys mentioned anymore Oscar included....

Tito should fight Sturm in a build-up for a rematch with DLH...he knocks out Sturm, who had a controversal loss vs. DLH and shows the world how one's doing it in fashion unlike DLH...
