As time goes on he's underrated more and more. Yes, he's one dimensional, but people have really forgotten how effective that one dimension truly was. For the most part he only had trouble with mover/boxer types.. top level ones at that... it's not like he spent his entire career KOing brawlers.

Sadly, people remember mostly his performances against Hopkins, Wright and Jones.

he is hardly underrated esp on this board. How would you say he is? In every mythical matchup presented here it seems he ko's everyone.

He would beat everyone in the 147 pound division today.. I'd pick him over everyone at 154, as well.

See ...that is pretty much the consensus on ESB. In no way is he under rated ...perhaps over rated.

No it's not.. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people choose someone over Trinidad strictly because they were " boxer " types. Nevermind the fact that people are even starting to doubt his punching ability.

Personally, and something that has been evident on ESB, is that Trinidad is not underrated.

I think some of todays fighter at 147 and 154 would give him problems...as far as his power is concern i always thought he had good speed and ability to throw combinations well and was never really a one punch KO artist like some try to make him out to be. I personally think he is being overrated when people compare his power to that of hearns. No way trinidad is underrated on esb.

Oh, Hearns without question is a harder puncher than Trinidad. And while Tito's not a one punch KO kinda guy at the same time it doesn't take a whole lot of accumulation for him to stop a guy, either. If he caught you with a couple good shots you were pretty ****ed.

There's a new Tito vs _____ thread every day on here with 214 people agreeing Trinidad "kos them cold". He's definetly not underrated on this forum. Some people view him as some sort of messiah.

And if you want to see the ultimate in boxing delusion look at the "Hearns vs Trinidad 147" thread and all the people picking Trinidad to win. I like Tito but c'mon, he'd get brutalized by Hearns.

I can agree with this. Most of his knockdowns were balance issues since he had that goofy stance. He always got right back up quickly and attacked
