And then Ike in his next fight after Delahoya lost to an 18-0 Fernando Vargas who then two fights later lost to Trinidad. Fighter A beat fighter b who beat fighter c type stuff doesn’t work for these debates. I just did it because you did, see how easy that is. Quartey being robbed against Delahoya (your words) and then Delahoya easily outboxing Trinidad (again your words) means NOTHING for Ike vs Tito.

Tito was weight drained against Delahoya and many think the fight was close regardless. Steve Kim a long time boxing writer during this quarantine has been re scoring old fights. The other day he re scored Delahoya - Trinidad and said it could basically go either way. Delahoya never wanted that rematch when they both moved up. Oscar ran from a weight drained Tito down the stretch of that fight, good luck against him at full strength. And officially Tito still won and Delahoya beat Ike, so......

Reid was a youngster (your words) Reid was an Olympic Gold Medalist and a world champion and Tito crushed him!!

What about Joppy? 32-1 and a world champion Tito moved up and DESTROYED him, no one EVER did that to Joppy before or after.

Again none of this “fight math” really matters. I’ll take Trinidad because he was just better than Ike in my opinion. He’s too relentless, too heavy handed and he’d just be too much and too good for Quartey.

And Jel had it 115-113 Tito iirc. Not a robbery.
