Starling is the type of guy that would be difficult for Tito but at the end of the day, I think Tito's power has Marlon on the defensive a bit too much for him to win a decision.

Tito simply had too much firepower for Marlon, who was a very good fighter, but his offense would not have been enough, and his defense, as good as it was, probably would have been penetrated by Trindad's power, particularly when they could have fought, at 147.

Here we talk about Sharkey’s issues above the neck but I don’t hear it said too often about Starling… I had it pointed out to me as I overlooked it myself but Marlon at times really fought down in some bouts, below his level like a guy fighting to lose. If “Magic Man” showed up he was hell, personally I believe this is a good fight but I don’t know who would win. I sort of lean towards my guy Marlon. I don’t think there is anything between Marlon or Mayweather at there best, there career trajectories and reputations are very reflective of how much of this is the mind like Ol Cus said many times.

Exactly my thoughts on this one.
    Don't believe Trinidad would ko
    Starling, but his offensive output
    Would make Starling reluctant to
let his hands go ( Which wouldn't be
the first time) he'd stay defensive oriented.
    losing by UD.

I loved them both. But Tito was better.

Starling doesn’t have that southpaw jab that Winky Wright had….Trinidad UD

I think Marlon could take it.....on points. But he would have to be at his best.

Marlon would have beaten the hell out of Felix. Power is the one thing that is not going to bother Marlon and Marlon is faster then Felix not to mention his defense is light years better as well. On the inside Starling is pretty strong as well so I cannot see how Felix wins this.
Lupe Aquino for all his faults could really crack especially when he was coming up and Starling easily beat him.
Simon Brown was very strong and could punch and Starling hung a loss on him.
Tommy Ayers was a big tall strong welterweight and Starling beat him too.
Honeyghan was literally destroyed by Starling.

Strength/power never really bothered Starling. The only one who really beat up Starling to a degree was Curry in the 2nd fight and Felix was not ever close in terms of skill to a prime Curry.

Starling at his best could trouble Trinidad but I still think his high guard defense won't be enough deter Trinidad. Unlike Wright, who was bigger and had a much better jab, Starling wouldn't be able to push Trinidad back and walk through his power without getting hurt to the point of being too defensive. Trinidad's power puts Starling on the defensive and wins via decision due to his punch output.
