Felix Trinidad vs. Miguel Cotto

The only way cotto can do this, and it is possible, if he better stamina and a better defense. Cotto doesn't have the stamina necessary to BOX a full 12 rounds against tito and tito is much faster than margo and hits way harder. but it is possible to outbox him completely. And then added on to the fact that Cotto has stamina issues.

If Cotto had a better defense and better stamina, yes he could beat him. Cotto has displayed some good boxing ability, fighting off the back foot. He has good movement and is fast enough to pull it out, but his defense and stamina will be a problem in keeping this up. Against margo he could not.

 

HUh?? great logic kid. His accuracy was bad because the guy has three losses against future HOF's? how about the accuracy in his 42 wins and 35 KO's? You can say anything you like about Tito but to say he was not accurate is totally ridiculous. His main qualities in his prime were his power and accuracy in throwing his punches and not wasting them. Get a clue kid.

cotto would get tagged too much he is not there in terms of relying on reflex speed, he would get koed

Tito in 8. Cotto would be running for his life and will go down hard.

 

Tito has a better defense than Margo and better boxing ability. Tito gets KD but he gets up with relatively no effect. A prime Vargas has much more pop than Cotto. The guy has only been stopped once, by B-HOP and it took 11 rounds of clean shots from a natural middleweight to do it.

 

Exactly, and Tito still got up in the BHOP fight, his dad was the one who did not want to risk it and threw the towel. I never thought Tito's chin was as bad as people thought, I think he had somewhat shaky legs due to his awkward stance and that made him vulnerable to flash KO's.

 

And Campas had more punching power than Margarito and would probably win that matchup prime for prime.

Actually it took 12 rounds AND Tito wasn't really knocked out, IMO he would have finished the fight he was ready to continue but the corner threw the towel.

 

Tito by mid-round TKO, Cotto simply doesn't have the chin nor the defense to hang with him for long. Let's not forget how accurate Tito was, he much more precise than anyone Cotto has ever fought.

 

Cotto WILL get hit, and ****ing hard.
