Tito cracks Cotto's chin. I think it would be the right hand that does it too, not the vaunted left hook.

It's not beyond the realm of possibilty that Cotto scores a flash knockdown early, but I doubt it as Miguel starts slowly himself. The key factor is that Tito could out jab Cotto, which would set up the big shots and lead to the KO.

I don't think Cotto has what it takes to beat Trinidad. All of the guys who beat Trinidad (or lost highly disputed decisions to) were bigger, taller, rangier, more defensively sound fighters than Cotto.

Cotto may have some success early on, he has pretty good timing when to pick his shots, and then I suspect he'd get caught too often and too hard. If he throws his left hook to the body, Trinidad can respond with his left hook upstairs. Tito liked to time guys to also land the straight right, and has more than a tiny edge in reach and height.

After Trinidad gets his timing and rhythm down, he'd hurt Cotto. Tito was usually an excellent finisher who took out guys not long after he hurt them. In this case, I think Cotto goes on the retreat, but this would only delay in inevitable.

    Trinidad in the mid rounds.

Trinidad was to accurate, to explosive, to strong, and too much pressure for Cotto.

Didn't Trinidad use illegal handwraps? If so, then he he wins because cheatwraps are like kryptonite to Cotto.

Trinidad 8 times out of 10.

I could see the Cotto that beat Mosley impressing early though; staying out of range and jabbing with his timing, and then picking his shots on the inside before getting the **** out again. But I see Trinidad catching him and maybe finishing him.

Depends on a couple things... first off on Tito's wrapping technique ;)

Second, Tito COULD be taken by someone at Cotto's level if you could find his chin early enough, but you have to stop Tito from raining low blows when he gets hurt (see Vargas, Fernando). If the fight goes a few rounds and Tito gets loose and warmed up he'll just seek and destroy Miguel.

    I don't see it bro.

    Tito 10/10

    Tito is faster than Margarito.
    Tito hits harder than Margarito.
Tito is more skilled than Margarito.

Cotto's down fall is his ability to endure punishment and his stamina...

two things that were Tito's strengths.

Tito beats Cotto pretty easily. And get educated on the hand wraps before you bring it up please
