loaded gloves? if thats the case it goes to Trinidad because Cotto can't handle it..


if there aren't any loaded gloves.. i'd give it to Cotto... he wears down his opponents. Trinidad after Hopkins proving he was a cheater was barely winning 50% of his fights...

Is Vargas better than Cotto??

I dont think so , Cotto is a very smart fighter who would give out a boxing lesson early in the fight and build a lead, I dont think he holds Trinidad off though and loses on points.

This is not a onesided fight.

 

You can't really use this as an exapmle. There's no way Trinidad would have been coming forward throwing hundreds of punches had he taken the beating Margarito did for 5 rounds. Margarito is far more durable.

I'm not saying Trinidad wouldn't KO Cotto, but he'll be behind on the cards if he does so.

The pre-Margarito Cotto is being underated because of his current state.

The Vargas who fought Tito would beat seven shades of **** out of Cotto. I agree Vargas is somewhat overrated, but he would still **** up Cotto, who is just as overrated.

Also life and death with Judah?? were you watching the fight ? Cotto was about 8 or 9 rounds ahead when he knocked Judah out.

Vargas was overhyped and came up way short look at the Mosley fight at 29 he is washed up, Cotto on the other hand is still competitive .

 

Quartey, Campas, Marquez. Might not be anyone to get excited about, but also take a look at the guys he fought at such a young age...Wright, Oscar, Tito...and was competitive with all. Who the **** was Cotto fighting when he was Vargas' age when he fought all those dudes?

and Read again, i said he went life and death with Mosley, an old past it one at that. As for Winky Wright, Cotto would get beaten even more clearly by him than Vargas. At 29 Vargas was already shot, after being in wars with Trinidad and De La Hoya, who would have raped Cotto....Had Cotto fought anyone in that level at Vargas age, he would of been retired a long time ago.
